A documentary I filmed about African American English. It was shot for a school project and I am working on another version of it with more footage and better overall composition.
The Box was shot for last year's Fall Retreat at Immanuel Baptist Church. There were about a trillion things that went wrong during the production and it almost didn't get finished. It was my first completed film I had ever done from start to finish. Looking back, I would have changed a million things about it - the lighting, the sound, the composition - all kinds of things. But it was my first - so I am leaving it as it is. Enjoy.
