Not a Big Fan For The Office

August 9th 2007

It was quite a scorcher in the office today. For some reason, the AC was not working to it's full potential on this hot summer day. My office was hovering at 83 degrees all day today. I went to lunch with one of my co-workers, Gabe and afterwards we went to Wally-world to purchase a fan.

Originally, I was not going to purchase one, I was just going because Gabe wanted one. But then I saw a wee fan - a tiny desk fan made of steel, not plastic - it was $6. I couldn't resist.

I am glad I bought it. There is nothing like hot, stale air. Then there is nothing like having the weeness fan blowing tiny breezes of refreshment in your face.

A little later in the day after everyone had repeated the phrase "It's hot in here!" well over 1,000 times in about 50 different variations, Don walked in and gave me the same fan I had purchased, only the bigger version. I was so happy.

I set up the bigger fan adjacent to myself and the weeness fan, thus I was being blow in a whirlwind of refreshing air directly in the center of the fan's faithful services.

I think I'll start writing in shorter paragraphs from now on.

It's easier to read.

Plus, it makes it look like you wrote more.

Now, let's not have a competition over who's work environment is harsher. Everyone knows that anything under the outside temp is a blessing.

Let's see you were complaining about 83 degrees in the office, for us, it was 96 in the office, we had no A/C. We had fans but they failed after 88 degrees.
