Aslan is on the move

I totally forgot to mention in the previous entry that we have a new dog. His name is Aslan.

Our New Dog Aslan

We were calling him Andon there for a while, but Aslan (from "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe") seemed to work better. He is a four-month-old Goldendoodle, or a Golden Retriever / Poodle mix. He is quite different from Kona, well at least in Kona's early years he was all hyper and crazy and junk, but Aslan is really clam, cool and collective. He is afraid of the stairs but he is getting better at going up and down them. He likes Mary Audrey better than me.

Aslan with Ashley

David, Ashley and I all went to the Olive Garden yesterday and hung out like the "good ole days." We got to catch up on the past 3 or 4 years of not seeing each other. Afterward we went back to David's mackin' basement and watched "The Game" on the projector that David lovingly set up for us.

I hope your new puppy can bring peace to Narnia.
(S)he at least is very very precious!

Just to let you all know, Aslan was a lion, part of the cat family. Not that it doesn't matter, because that's such a cool name anyways, and he definitely looks like an Aslan. Just thought I'd give you all a heads up on that fact.

Man, snowboarding is hard work. My entire body aches. Also falling hard a couple of times didn't help. I was doing really well at first, so i started to go pretty fast down some of the runs - then i started falling. A good crash to the chest, and another to my back, and i came to the conclusion that i'm not quite good enough to be going so fast. Still having a great time, but i don't think i'll be moving my arms or legs much for the next couple of days.
