Update on the Thinkpad Drama

After much frustration with my new IBM Thinkpad Lenovo T61, I called up their returns people again today and got a lady named Jessica who said that she'd have to send the return request to some committee that would make the decision of whether or not to take the laptop back without charging me a restocking fee. They were going to be notifying me within two business days via email their decision. Whatever. I'm thinking it won't be a problem, but if that thing comes back rejected, I will have a few choice colorful words for them.

I'm on my way to Detroit now to go get my West Coast Swing grove on. Oh yeah.
