You know you really need a haircut when your British professor walks up to you before class and says, "Wow, you really need a haircut." Perhaps it's best that I didn't respond with a smart-aleck remark like, "Since when did the bloke who wears the same blue button-up shirt everyday become the fashion police?" Or worse, "Sure, I'll cut my hair. As soon as you stop saying 'zed' for the letter 'z' you crazy Brit!"
The semi-funny aspect to the situation is that since he does have a fairly significant dialectal variation, the class full of linguists find themselves taking notes on his accent and "funny sayings" instead of the content of his lecture. Or maybe that's just me.
Oh, I finally got around to posting some videos I have made. Check out the videos link at the top. I want to add more to it, and I suppose I will when I get a free moment (in a few years).

I got a haircut today. Just a trim. The last one til it all goes away in the summer...
