Happy New Years

Well Happy New Years to you. Yes, it's the “new” year which will magically become the “old” year next year when we celebrate the “new” new year. I spent this New Years at Frith's house for the ball drop where we watched the poor old guy count down incorrectly and said “Happy New Years” a few seconds prematurely followed by a long shot of him and his wife making out. Before that we went to William's house for Warcraft. William has been trying desperately to get his friends to play a network game of Warcraft with him for the past few years and just a week ago, his dreams came to fruition. It was a blast playing with four guys (David, William, Frith and Me.)

It has been far too long since my last update in October, and for that I apologize. I really do want to keep this beast up-to-date, but it can become bothersome to keep it fresh with new pics and all that stuff when work and school consume the majority of my time. And when I am out of school, I am working full time in front of a computer and when I get home, it's not exactly something I want to get in front of again. So there is my excuse. I am going to be adding a “video” section which will be a showcase of all the videos I have scattered around on my hard drive.

Ok, so who is this “Tea” character on the last comments talking about William being “cute?” I did a whois lookup on Tea's IP address and narrowed the search down to Middletown, New Jersey. I know no one in Middletown, or even New Jersey for that matter. But to answer your questions Mrs. Tea, William is single and I am guessing he wouldn't mind if a girl contacted him in hopes of developing some kind of relationship. :) If you are interested, let me know and I get you two in contact. ;)

Alright, to recap the past 3 months...

School

• I made it through driving my bike to school everyday without getting hit by a car.
• I made a 3.0 GPA in my classes, but could have had a higher GPA had I taken one of my “easy” classes slightly more seriously.
• I am taking 18 hours next semester.
• I officially changed my major to Linguistics.
• I made a video for Spanish class and it was a whole lot of fun. I'll try to post it soon.

Work

• I am working full-time during the break.
• I am learning all kinds of cool stuff to do with AJAX.
• David came to work with me the past two days to help us out with a car dealership website and he did an awesome job!

Church

• Curt Vernon is going to be the new college intern at IBC.
• We went to Gatlinburg in November and it was such a blast.

Friends

• David and D-well are in town!!!
• I have made some new friends from college stuff like CSF and Reality.
• The other day someone asked me if I had a girlfriend. I laughed and replied, “No, I'm happy.” (Just Kidding.) But still keeping my eye out for Ms. Right.

Holidays

• Spend Thanksgiving in Ohio and saw some relatives I hadn't seen in forever and had a great time.
• For Christmas, I got to see my cousin Rio who I hardly never get to see, but every time I get to see her it's always a blast.
• I got an iPod Nano for Christmas!! I also got the Logitech G7 wireless laser mouse which is the best mouse you can buy. I also have a certificate for a remote start on my truck and I got a lot of stuff for my office like a lamp, candles and incense.

Hobbies

• I went out shooting with Tim Spivey, Ryan Russell, and Paky Kramer at my Papaw Jack's farm. Tim has more guns than the Guatemalan military. It was a blast.
• We are going shooting this Saturday (the 8th if you want to come.)
• I bought a Taurus 9mm handgun with holster.
• My computer crashed and I lost lots of data including songs and documents, but I was able to recover a lot of data with a $70 piece of software.
• I bought a freaking awesome sound card that I will use to make some electronica music once I get enough money to buy the software I need.
• I finally gave in and signed up for MySpace thanks to Rio's influence.

I guess that about sums it up.
