Super Reuben

Im still here, believe it or not! I am sitting here stuck in the computer lab until 4 watching gulp, uh *Cough-coughprincessdiaries2 ehem*. Yes, I know its sad, its a movie that all little 12 year old girls want to watch, but there is no other choice! Now, dont poke and make fun! So this princess is supposed to marry this one guy because of family / political reasons, but she really loves this other guy and at the end she gets married to the guy she really wants to marry. I think that is ingenious! I have never seen such a dynamic and unique plot unfold in a movie before! I stand and applaud you, Disney, for your creative minds and most excellent execution of a movie that has never been tried before. If you cant tell, Im being sarcastic.

Well, the other day, Reuben tried to play Superman off the back of the couch and managed to fracture his arm right at about the elbow. He got a cast on it, but is being a good sport about it. I am just fearing the day when he learns how to use it as a weapon. That is the day I will flee for my life. He already likes to torment the dogs. Its almost funny to watch him intentionally flail his arms around when he get near the dogs to try and hit them. The dogs fear for their lives when Reuben gets too close. For some reason, Reuben has found some morbid enjoyment of pulling Mias fur out of her skin.

I met with Kenneth today to talk about the Shalom Sponsorships website. This is a website that were are setting up down here that lets people sponsor kids that want to go to Shalom school but dont have the money to do it. It looks like a fun project and it will be my first bi-lingual website I have ever made! I am excited about that. Which reminds me, being down here and knowing that I will be returning to the States in a few months has made me start thinking a little more about school.

Before I came to Guatemala, Mr. Mercer suggested that I should go ahead and switch from Lexington Community College to the University of Kentucky. I agreed, and applied for UK when I came to visit the States a few weeks ago, and I got accepted. Hang on to that letter for me, mom! Anyways, I was thinking I was going to be a triple major, Computer Science, German, and Spanish. I talked with Andrea and she said that she was a triple major and that really got me thinking that itd be a cool thing to do. I mean, I just start getting so excited when I hear German, and I think there would be some cool jobs out there that would include all three of those majors. Think, translating computer programs or websites into Spanish and German! One thing I keep thinking about that would just be the coolest thing in the world is for one day to have an English speaker, German speaker and Spanish speaker who needed to talk together and I would be the translator. That would be so much fun!

I will try and have pictures up for you soon!

Deutsches zu studieren ist sehr gute Idee. Ja, sind viele Programmierer in Deutschland, und einige schreiben Code mit PHP und MySQL. Das ist sehr kühl! Ich habe viel Spaß Ihre Website lesend!

Duude! miss you. Hey the best combo would be German and Computer Science. There is a great need for German-speaking programmers in the SAP world (since 95% of the programming language is German.) I've been told you can make BIG bucks doing that too, like, in excess of 100,000 if you play your cards right!

Yes, I would have to agree, perhaps The Caped Crusader and Superman are joining forces to rid the world of hunger, poverty, and obviously bad guys. Hmm...The Adventures of Batman and Superman...in Guatemala?

Don't you find it funny that Reuben was being Superman and not Batman?

Haha

The letter is saved awaiting your return.

I'm amazing at what you do now. A triple major! There's nothing you can't do.

I'll have some Vegetales videos ready for you when you get home. :p
