Back From Guatemala

We're back from Guatemala! We spent our time in a town called Guazacapan digging and digging until we were so physically exhausted that we couldn't dig anymore. The church was creating a walkway from the road to the sanctuary and they were also going to build on classrooms. I had a wonderful time getting to know some of the people on the team that I didn't know. It was also great to see my old students from computer class. There was this one little girl that used to give me a big hug every time she came into my classroom. That Sunday Jarrod and I got to come back to the city to worship at Shalom Church. I poked my head into on of the Sunday school classes to find that same little girl playing with some of her friends. When she looked up and saw me, her face perked up and she immediately got up and ran over to me at the door. She threw her little arms around my legs and wouldn't let go. Man, talk about a tear jerker. :) She hugged me about a billion times throughout the rest of the morning. Below is her picture. I have a lot more pics, but Jarrod has them on his computer and he is still in Guatemala, so I'll post them when he gets back in about a week or so.
